Senior Account Manager

The PITCH.
We’re looking for a a driven and social-media savvy Senior Account Manager, who has always found non-traditional ways of solving problems, or grown tired of the way things have always been done, and is eager to join a place that’s obsessed with marketing like the year we actually live in to drive real business results.
- Supporting the Account Director to deliver media, strategic, creative and production solutions.
- Deliver both planned and reactive social media across the brand’s social media channels.
- Take ownership of your client relationship and social strategy, ensuring recommendations are smart, grounded in creative insights, knocks KPIs out of the park, and ultimately, help them sell shit!
- Collaborate with strategists, community managers and mid-level clients in the delivery of social media creative work.
- Work with a highly collaborative cross-agency team to deliver partnership and integrated ideas.
- Manage social media reporting. Develops IATs/IMCs and presents VM in a strong, strategic way. You have the ability to spot when another agency poses a threat to our business and how to manage up and workaround.
- Being a regular point of contact for the client and taking a critical role in actioning client and team requests that lead and shape social media creative work based on the client’s business objectives.
- Working with the Project Manager to manage the day-to-day workflow of the account.
- Being a key, proactive driver on the account – make stuff happen!
- Proactively identifying social media opportunities for the client and help guide the resulting creative briefs and social media work.
- Collaborating with other departments (Creative, Production, Analytics/Insights, Community Management) as one close, collaborative team that works together across deliverables, process, and output.
- Partnering with the Account Director to drive the overall commercial and relationship health of the account.
- Responsible for assignments centered around operational and internal initiatives, as provided by the Leadership team
- Collaborate with the leaders of other departments (Creative, Project Management, Media, and Analytics) to improve and execute on client deliverables, process, and output.

- Previous experience working within the social & digital, media, and agency space
- Loves Social Media – they are active user, understand how it works and know the key platforms, trends and formats.
- Developed advanced written and presentation communication skills, allowing them to comfortably engage with senior brand managers and partner agencies.
- A proven expertise in brand strategy, across a number of verticals, with the ability to translate strategy into smart and sound digital tactics
- An understanding of a brand marketing mix, ensuring that social & digital strategies integrate and amplify more traditional channels, while growing relationships with partner agencies
- Relentlessly focused on building strong client relationships–becoming a trusted day-to-day partner with a deep understanding of your client’s category (and ours) & the challenges that they face.
- Able to work at high pace in a fast-moving agency with a fast-moving client, being rigorous to a tee and not ashamed of their healthy level of perfectionism.
- Comfortable owning work and being proactive and is not afraid to have a point of view, and to voice it.
- Understands common marketing & media principles with a strong understanding of creative and media across major digital and social channels.
- Experience of social media monitoring and reporting.
- Loves the thought of helping create social media posts and advertising that prove how well they understand social.
