The Senior AEM Assets Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a proficient and experienced AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Assets Developer to join our team. As an AEM Assets Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing AEM assets to manage, organize, and optimize digital media and content across platforms. You will have a robust understanding of AEM Assets architecture and functionalities and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to improving our asset workflows and digital content to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and usability.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Implement and configure AEM Assets to support digital asset management needs across multiple AEM projects.
  • Integrate AEM with other systems and third-party services using RESTful and SOAP-based web services.
  • Develop customized solutions within AEM Assets, including metadata tagging, workflows, and integration with other platforms.
  • Optimize the storage and retrieval of digital assets to ensure quick and efficient access across the organization.
  • Collaborate with creative teams and engineering to establish and maintain asset organization standards and best practices.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular checks to ensure high efficiency and reliability of AEM Assets.
  • Keep abreast of the latest AEM updates and advancements, applying new features and technologies to meet business objectives.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 3+ years of proven experience as an AEM Developer, specifically Assets
  • Strong understanding of digital asset management and principles and technologies
  • Proficient with in Java, RESTful APIs, and Adobe Creative Cloud integration
  • Experience with workflow creation and management with AEM Assets
  • Knowledge of AEM administration, including user permissions, configurations, and system maintenance
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD processes in using Maven and Jenkins
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
