Senior Analyst, B2B Compensation Strategy

Who We Are

The Compensation team sits within our Sales Performance team which maximizes sales performance through compensation and book management strategy. The Comp team is responsible for the design and administration of incentive compensation plans for a sales organization of over 1,000 reps globally across Business to Business and Business to Consumer teams.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the design and administration of the sales compensation function. This role is accountable for deliverables and processes such as plan design and execution, configuration and maintenance of compensation plans via third party tools, and performance reporting & analysis. Relationship management is key in this role, as it requires cross-functional partnership with Sales, Finance, and Engineering among others. 

  • Partner with leadership to understand and align on sales program priorities
  • Support key initiatives through compensation-related thought partnership and analysis
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of data-driven, scalable, and financially sound compensation plans aligned with business strategy
  • Ensure effectiveness of compensation plans and enable continuous improvement through proactive reporting and analysis
  • Support monthly payroll calculations, audit and submission for disbursement
  • Implement and maintain accurate configuration of compensation tools and documentation
  • Support change management related to ongoing or new compensation practices
  • Work with Product and Engineering teams on process automation and triaging issues
  • Own the fact-finding and resolution for compensation-related issues, including handling Sales inquiries   

What You’ll Need

  • 2+ years of professional experience in sales compensation or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large data sets
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Curiosity and eagerness to have an impact on the business, especially as it relates to sales operations, process improvement and automation
  • Ability to thrive in an fast-paced, evolving organization while juggling several priorities
  • Good business judgment and problem solving skills
  • Experience owning work plans or projects, including defining execution plan, implementing results, managing stakeholders
  • Experience with CaptivateIQ, Excel, SQL, Looker and Salesforce (or similar tools)
  • Bachelor’s degree

All Boston-based interns, Co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Monday - Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
