It's an exciting time to join our Accounting team with ample development opportunities. We're looking for a Senior Analyst of Financial Reporting & Intercompany to strengthen reporting on our general ledger and accounting operations while keeping pace within the fastest-growing US direct-to-consumer meal-kit and ready-to-eat businesses.

The Senior Analyst of Financial Reporting & Intercompany will be responsible for preparing select month-end close entries and monthly reporting packages of all US HelloFresh brands. This position will prepare intercompany reconciliations and transactions, ad-hoc US reporting requests, assist with internal and external audits and regulatory reporting requirements. Although we are a global company, this position will work directly with the US Manager of Financial Reporting, and will interact closely with Group Accounting, Group Reporting, Financial Systems, Financial Operations, Treasury and Tax teams. You have the reporting and technical background to support our continued growth and collaborate with other departments to improve reporting.

• Perform all month-end intercompany closing activities in compliance with accounting policies, including analysis of Intercompany accounts; preparation of month-end account reconciliations in compliance with accounting policies; investigation and explanation for any unreconciled items
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of PBCs requested by auditors, and review of PBC items to ensure consistency with financial records
• Support technical assessment of unusual/new transactions to ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies, and external audits
• Participate in close related activities to ensure complete and accurate financials following IFRS
• Assist the Manager with design and preparation of monthly financial reporting for management, including tie-outs to underlying detail and improvement of data quality as well as variance analysis between forecast to actuals
• Explore AI opportunities to automate accounting processes and assist with data analytics

You have...

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• 2-5 years professional accounting experience with a public accounting firm, or mid- to large-size company (> $100 million revenue)
• Experience with food/manufacturing/ ecommerce industries
• Working knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS and AI is a plus
• CPA / CA certification is a plus
• Advanced Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and data manipulation skills
• Familiarity with Oracle is a plus
