Deliveroo

Our mission is to be the definitive food company. We are transforming the way the world eats by making food more convenient and accessible. We give people the opportunity to eat what they want, when and where they want it.

We are a technology-driven company at the forefront of the most rapidly expanding industry in the world. We are still a small team, making a very large impact, looking to answer some of the most interesting questions out there. We move fast, value autonomy and ownership, and we are always looking for new ideas.

This role is Hybrid and will be based out of our HQ office near London Bridge and your home.

The Team

The Growth, Strategy & Analytics team reports into Deliveroo’s COO organisation and our mission is to establish Deliveroo as the first-choice on-demand grocery and retail platform for customers across all of our markets.

The Planning & Analytics team sits within the Growth, Strategy & Analytics team and is responsible for powering the business with data, insights, and analysis that will improve all three sides of the marketplace - the team optimises for customer outcomes, reduced cost and improved efficiency.

The Role

Deliveroo is hiring a Senior Analyst to join the New Verticals Planning & Analytics Team based in our London HQ, reporting to the Senior Manager, Planning & Analytics. This role is largely project-based; starting from initial strategic questions, the role involves working through data to provide insights to drive decision-making at a global level with senior stakeholders.

There is also a day-to-day element working on forecasting and replenishment for a collection of HOP sites globally. As such the role is a great balance between high-impact strategic questions as well as seeing the day-to-day impact of the work.

We are seeking an experienced analyst who has a problem solving mindset, a strong skill set for data analysis and is naturally curious about the three sides of our marketplace. The role offers significant opportunity to learn and deliver large impact as part of a dynamic and fast growing team at Deliveroo. The culture within the team is informal, fast-paced and entrepreneurial. Given the growth of the business and the senior stakeholder exposure, progression in the team can be fast.

Success in this role will require development of effective working relationships across Deliveroo; particularly the link with the international markets, as well as the Data & Science, Operations, Commercial and Finance teams.
