About the job

This position is needed to drive impactful two-way engagement with industry analysts around Twilio’s Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS) solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of analyst relations best practices, and how to deliver outstanding business results that support broader marketing and company initiatives. The Senior Analyst Relations Manager will report to the Senior Director of Analyst Relations.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Develop and execute on a strategic plan for engaging with top analysts to drive influence
  • Work cross-functionally with teams such as PMM, Product Management, Customer Advocacy, PR, Investor Relations, Finance and Legal to support Twilio business objectives
  • Manage and lead analyst report submissions and related reprint campaigns
  • Guide spokespeople and internal stakeholders on analyst content and best practices for engagement
  • Identify, connect and tap key independent influencers to amplify Twilio’s message

Required:

  • 5-7+ years’ experience in Analyst Relations or related experience in Communications, Public Relations or Product Marketing
  • Deep knowledge and passion for building relationships with key enterprise software analysts and influencers
  • Proactive, professional, respectful and curious
  • Strong communications skills and ability to quickly build and maintain relationships 
  • Ability to understand technical capabilities and how these are differentiated
  • Interest in solving problems and passion for research
  • Bachelor’s degree

Desired:

Experience working with CPaaS, developers or APIs a plus

Location 

This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.

Approximately 15% travel is anticipated.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

  • Based in Colorado: $135,920 - $169,900.

  • Based in New York, Washington State or California (outside the San Francisco Bay Area): $143,920 - $179,900.

  • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
