Senior Analyst, Workforce Insights
HelloFresh is looking for a Senior Analyst, Workforce Insights to join the Business Technology & Analytics Data Product Management team. You will support our Workforce Insights roadmap and optimization strategy by delivering data-driven insights and building effective solutions that enable key operational reporting and analytics. You will work cross-functionally with People, Operations, Data Engineering, Data Science and Product teams to understand business requirements, design technical solutions and build automated reporting capabilities and dashboards. This role is New York based and will report to the Senior Manager of Data Product.
In this role, you can expect to
- Partner with stakeholders to design and build dashboards that enable data-driven operational decision-making both at regular cadences and ad-hoc when needed
- Apply your expertise in data & quantitative analysis to see beyond the numbers, and translate complex business issues into actionable insights
- Develop strong relationships and a deep understanding of stakeholder’s business challenges, and design technical opportunities to solve them
- Drive development and optimization of current and future Workforce Insights solutions on Tableau, Domo, Workday and other HR systems
- Contribute requirements to Workforce Insights roadmap and future enhancements based on your ongoing stakeholder feedback
- Leverage SQL to build and deliver data models for ad-hoc descriptive insights
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to testing best practices
- Serve as the functional Workforce Insights tools, systems and data subject matter expert
- Work fearlessly, quickly and collaboratively to uncover and resolve underlying issues or business problems
To thrive in this role, you have
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant area of study
- 2+ years of reporting and data analytics skills, with the ability to leverage multiple data sources to enable data-driven insights and present these to various audiences
- Demonstrated understanding of HR data, systems and processes (e.g., headcount, attrition rate, workforce planning, Workday reporting, etc.)
- Strong data visualization, storytelling and dashboard design skills using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo, Grafana)
- Acute attention to detail and accuracy, passionate about using insights to create solutions optimize business processes, self-motivated and a rapid learner
- Ability to organize, explore, and synthesize unstructured data into actionable insights to better inform operational decision-making
- Exceptional critical thinking skills, using logic to identify opportunities, evaluate alternatives, and synthesize and present critical information to solve complex problems
- Fluent in SQL and familiar with data warehousing and manipulation (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
- Knowledge of data architecture, data modeling, and QA/QC processes
- Knowledge of Python nice-to-have

New York Pay Range$97,500—$130,000 USD
