The Challenge 

We are hiring a Senior Architect who will work with the research and development and product teams to engineer industry leading solutions. Architects play an instrumental role in new product development and product innovation. As an architect, you will lead brainstorming sessions, mentor peers, and rapidly prototype the products of OneTrust’s future.  

Your Mission 

Design and implement elegant solutions that are performant, scalable, and easy to maintain.   

• Coach development teams in best practices related to microservices or front-end best practices (Angular, Typescript, JavaScript, etc.)
• Identify performance bottlenecks and deliver rapid solutions. 
• Review code quality tools (SonarQube, Sonatype Lifecycle) to educate teams in meeting quality goals.  Review 3rd-party libraries for technical feasibility and legal adherence.
• Write code for POCs to demonstrate new technologies and new ways of solving problems. 
• Perform code reviews for development teams across the organization. 
• Develop formal documentation on development processes and standards.    
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX and project management. 
• Working with onshore/offshore development teams   
• Working on Enterprise scale projects    

You Are

You are comfortable working with and recommending various software paradigms and design patterns while passionately striving for and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work by maintaining a high awareness of industry issues and trends.  

• Computer Science Fundamentals (algorithms, data structures, call stack, recursion, etc.) 
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex issues. 
• Comfortable working with and recommending various software paradigms and design patterns. 
• Honed critical thinking skills. 
• A keen attention to detail 
• Agile development experience 
• CI/CD – DevOps mindset 
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) using modern technologies. 

Your Experience Includes 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field   
• 15+ years of professional experience 
• Understanding of front-end experimentation practices to drive product and performance optimizations.
• Demonstrated knowledge in designing and delivering scalable frontend architectures
• High competency in Angular/React/Vue or another frontend framework
• High competency with CSS (sass preferred)
• High competency in frontend testing platforms for unit testing (preferred: Jasmine) and e2e testing (preferred: Cypress)
• Expert in implementing and testing accessibility standards.
• Knowledge in handling localization and globalization implementations
• Experienced in building and maintaining shared design systems. 

Extra Awesome

• Previous experience with enterprise product development 
• Experience in backend development and micro services
