The Supplier Advertising team at Wayfair provides solutions for Wayfair’s 10,000+ suppliers to advertise their brands and products. These offerings include on-site solutions such as sponsored product listings and display ads, as well as off-site offerings such as email placements and Meta targeting. We work on both improving our products to maximize their inherent value, as well as advising suppliers on how best to leverage them to grow their businesses on Wayfair. Not only are we generating millions in extra revenue for suppliers and solidifying Wayfair as a preferred partner, but we’ve built a significant business that’s one of the highest growth areas in the company. 

 

We are looking for a Senior Associate to offer data-driven solutions to problems posed by stakeholders across the company and optimize processes across our commercial efforts. Our work is challenging, high-impact, and heavily relied upon for strategic decision-making. This role provides significant exposure to senior leadership and opportunities to work with a variety of cross-functional partners across Commercial and Technology organizations. A successful Senior Associate is driven, flexible, able to think on their feet and solve ambiguous problems creatively. They have demonstrated skill with technical tools and processes through project management, data analysis, or other similar experience. Senior Associates must be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Sales Enablement: You will develop and implement Commercial processes for sales teams, specialists, and other representatives by researching and analyzing data to create sales forecasts and creating and managing tools and reports to increase sales process efficiency 
  • Performance Management: You will provide accurate, timely, and actionable reporting and business metrics to leadership, highlighting key insights into spend trends with meaningful and actionable insights 
  • Product Improvement: You will provide valuable user insights to make incremental enhancements on existing products and analytical tools, closing the gap between commercial requirements and the technical teams
  • Business Partnership: You will build strong relationships and collaborate with business leaders to become a trusted partner who highlights risks, spots opportunities, and builds simulations and sensitivity analyses 

 

What You'll Need

  • 2+ years of work experience in a relevant field, ideally in sales, account management, sales strategy, sales management, business operations and/or advertising industry 
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets required 
  • Must be comfortable working with large large datasets
  • Strong communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, technology departments and executive leadership 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities for process improvements and develop and implement new strategies
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred 
  • Experience with GBQ / SQL or other database languages and familiarity with visualization tools, such as Looker, Looker Studio, or similar is preferred, but not required
