This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Boston HQ. Monday-Thursday will be working in office and Friday is WFH. This is not a virtual / remote position.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join our dynamic Consumer PR & Partnerships team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help drive the strategic growth of the Wayfair brand through high-impact collaborations with talent and brand partners. As a Consumer PR and Partnerships Senior Associate, you will play an essential role in developing and executing innovative PR and partnership campaigns that enhance our brand visibility, drive audience engagement, and build lasting relationships with key celebrities, brands, and media outlets.
Reporting to the Manager, Consumer PR & Partnerships, you’ll manage both existing partner relationships and help launch new, high-profile collaborations. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our brand marketing efforts and support the continued growth of the Wayfair brand.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in the ideation and execution of talent-driven campaigns, ensuring alignment with brand strategy and business objectives.
- Support the development and execution of comprehensive consumer PR campaigns that drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Collaborate with the Manager of Consumer PR & Partnerships and an external agency partner to identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with celebrity and influencer partners.
- Support the coordination of project timelines, deliverables, and budgets, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within scope.
- Work closely with internal creative teams to develop engaging content that showcases talent and brand partnerships across various platforms.
- Work closely with Wayfair brand marketing leadership to align PR and partnership strategies with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with other Wayfair departments within Brand & Integrated Marketing, Curated Merchandising, and Corporate Communications to ensure cohesive execution of partnerships and PR initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, prepare post-campaign reports for leadership and broader crossfunctional teams, and offer actionable insights and recommendations to optimize future collaborations and PR initiatives.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in marketing, brand partnerships, or public relations (agency experience preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across a large number of cross functional stakeholders
- Solution-oriented, collaborative, and curious mindset
- Attitude of a true team player — positive, enthusiastic, with a willingness to learn
- Experience interacting with and managing talent relationships a plus
