As a member of the EU Promotions team, one of our Marketing departments, you'll drive tangible results through strategic content development, cross-functional project management and revenue growth. We achieve this by staying at the forefront of innovation, leveraging market insights, and orchestrating wide collaboration across the many departments involved in our operations, from Marketing to Partner Management, to Pricing to our Creative Department.

Promotional Offers are product, category or brand level deals that we will offer to our customer both during or outside or Major Promotional moments. This is an integral part of our promotional strategy at Wayfair globally and becoming more important as our customers continue to hunt for exceptional deals on a daily basis, including outside of our major events (example: Way Day, Black Friday). We are looking for someone who will lead the Promotional Offers strategy, execution, optimization and expansion across our EU sites (Germany, UK and Ireland). 

This role is Hybrid: Monday to Thursday in the office, Friday - remote

What You’ll Do
  • Own the strategy for Promotional Offers across our European websites.
  • Manage a small team to drive operational implementation of offers on a daily basis, incl. impact reporting. 
  • Oversee the end to end execution of all EU promotional offers, including marketing channel coordination, pricing and profit alignment, executional timelines, tooling, product selection, and more. 
  • Monitor and assess the performance of promotional offers in each market, identify trends (incl. market developments, customer behavior, and competitor activities), and generate data-driven insights to refine and enhance future campaigns.
  • Lead the offers expansion strategy working closely with North American counterparts to understand where it’s possible to build new offer types or optimize existing ones, both for our customers and suppliers. Work closely with tech teams to influence roadmaps to improve the user interface of relevant offers tools as well as the customer facing experience. 
What You'll Need
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (German is plus) 
  • Masters degree in business, marketing or another quantitative field of study (e.g., math, sciences, engineering, economics)
  • Prior experience in digital marketing, management consulting, startup/tech, finance, and/or strategy with an analytical emphasis is highly valued
  • Interdisciplinary project management and teamwork skills - you are reliable and thoughtful in managing your responsibilities, you care about the outcome & quality of your work and the work of your team
  • Strong business acumen, hunger for driving results - you quickly grasp KPIs and metrics, and constantly look for opportunities to improve performance and automate processes
  • A total ownership mindset - ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a bias for action and a “get stuff done” attitude, while maintaining a customer-lense (e.g., understand what a good customer experience looks like)
  • Excellent critical thinking and stakeholder management skills - ability to break down and communicate complex ideas and influence senior leaders and cross-functional partners
  • Strong quantitative analytics with a technical lean - ability to generate insights and solutions or build a story and strategy from large data sets. SQL / GBQ knowhow is preferred
