We're seeking a dedicated, efficient Senior Backend Developer to guide our team in technical operations. This role requires top-grade software design and development expertise, a problem-solving mindset, and a keen eye for sustainable and timely solutions. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will complete and tackle the most crucial tasks with ease, thanks to your high technical skills. You will be the driving force behind continuous improvement and possess a comprehensive understanding of the stream domain. If you are an analytical thinker, capable of delivering effective solutions, then you are the team member we're looking for.

In this role you will:

• Expect to engage in frequent cross-functional communication, including:
• Mentoring and guiding junior developers.
• Daily monitoring of production logs and performance in order to keep our environments healthy.
• Design and develop maintainable code using principles and design patterns.
• Writing documentation.
• Onboarding of new team members.
• Take care of the most critical tasks.
• Interacting with stakeholders to gather feature requirements.
• Promptly troubleshooting bugs on production.
• Responsiveness to issue resolution requests from other departments.
• Assist QA and developers during the deployment on production.
• Assist QA and DevOps on troubleshooting issues.
• Participate in the iteration planning and team stand-up meetings.
• Passionate about technologies that can be useful to our team and product.

Must have:

• 5+ years of experience.
• Strong grip on PHP.
• Exceptional ability to analyse code for debugging, and product understanding.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript.
• Well-versed in NODE/Javascript back-end side.
• Experience in writing unit tests.
• Experience in dealing with large and distributed microservice systems.
• Expertise in GIT.
• Design software solutions based on requirements.

Nice to have:

• Kibana usage knowledge for log reading and issue discovery.
• Basic devops knowledge including server setup, NGINX, AWS, etc.
• Ability to write clean, efficient code.
• Prior experience in React, Vue, or Angular.
• Typescript proficiency.
• Acquaintance with GraphQL.
• Experience in Gitlab.
