About the job

This position is needed to support the order management and billing function. In this role, you’ll work closely with Deal Operations, Revenue Accounting, and Sales to see orders through to invoicing. 

We are a fast growing company and are focused on building systems that scale. We are looking for a team player who is excited about building streamlined processes and energized by cross functional partnership.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Support an international team of order management and billing specialists to ensure timely and accurate order processing and invoice generation
  • Respond to and provide resolutions for internal and external escalations and customer inquiries
  • Review validation of customer contracts across multiple systems to ensure accuracy of financial data in each system and to ensure accurate and timely provisioning of contracts prepared by analysts
  • Execute and own SOX compliant month end reconciliations over billing and provisioning, ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Participate in new process implementations, operational improvements, system enhancements, and training new team members, contributing from a subject matter expertise perspective.

Required:

  • 3+ years experience in a billing operations role
  • Experience with Zuora, and Salesforce
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask throughout high volume order processing 
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve issues independently
  • Collaborative working style and experience working cross-functionally
  • Ability to participate in flexible timezone meetings periodically 

Desired:

  • Experience working in the SaaS/technology industry
  • Experience working with an international team
  • Knowledge of and experience with SOX controls

Location

  • This role will be remote, and based in the West Coast, USA
  • This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco, CA, Oakland, CA, San Jose, CA, or the surrounding areas.
  • Approximately 5% travel is anticipated.

    *Please note this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado, California, New York, and Washington. The information below is provided for candidates hired in those locations only.

    The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

    • Based in Colorado: $69,600 - $87,000
    • Based in New York, Washington State, or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $73,760 - $92,200.
    • Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $81,920 - $102,400.
    • This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, paid sick time, paid personal time off, paid parental leave.

    The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
