Salary: The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $118,000 per year, however the base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

The Team & The Role

The Fintech & Loyalty (F&L) organization builds and manages the foundational systems, financial products, and fraud detection and prevention services that provide customers with a secure, seamless, and rewarding payment experience. 

F&L partners with 30+ organizations worldwide to provide a robust selection of gifting, paying, and financing options, to securely process $12B+ in annual transaction volume, and to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud.

This role is responsible for supporting the profitable growth and optimization of Wayfair’s global suite of consumer financing offerings. This includes analyzing program performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the execution of strategic initiatives.

What You'll Do
  • Program Performance Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of consumer financing program performance, including key metrics, customer behavior, and profitability drivers. Identify trends, anomalies, and areas for optimization

  • Data Reporting & Visualization: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and other data visualizations to track program health, identify key insights, and communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify opportunities to improve program economics, customer experience, and operational efficiency through data analysis and market research

  • Cross-functional Support: Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Finance teams to provide data-driven insights and support the execution of strategic initiatives
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Research and analyze competitive financing offerings and industry trends to inform program strategy and identify best practices

  • Process Improvement: Support the continuous improvement of operating models and operational efficiency within the financing program
  • Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support specific business questions and initiatives as needed

  • Partner Relationships:  Manage day-to-day operations with 6+ financing partners globally, in addition to developing relationships with prospective partners
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of analyses, methodologies, and key findings

  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate complex data insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field
  • 3+ years of professional experience

  • Experience in financial services and/or consumer financing (buy-now-pay-later, lending, credit, etc) is a plus
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, SQL or GBQ, and data visualization tools such as Google Data Studio, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI

  • Team-first attitude with enthusiasm for cross-functional collaboration
  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
