The Team

The Deliveroo Enterprise Technology (ET) team conceives, designs, builds and sustains the IT services powering Deliveroo's internal teams globally, as we transform the way customers eat. What you’ll do

We’re looking for a Senior Client Platforms Engineer who is excited about building scalable platforms, leveraging modern management tools to secure and manage our global fleet of endpoints all whilst providing a delightful and frictionless user experience.

You play a leading role in planning, building and maintaining the infrastructure and tools used to manage our global fleet of MacOS, ChromeOS, Windows and mobile endpoints for our employees. Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of complex engineering projects that improve the security, reliability, compliance, and automation of our fleet
  • Actively partner with key internal stakeholders (Security, IT Ops, Service Management, Asset Management etc) to fulfil their needs, troubleshoot tool-related issues, and provide technical expertise.
  • Leverage your deep technical skills to tackle complex problems, debug effectively, and find elegant solutions
  • Participate in developing and refining operational metrics, enhancing systems for monitoring fleet health and performance.
  • Be a relentless advocate for automation. Continuously hunt for opportunities to eliminate manual work through tool building and process automation.
  • Create and maintain high quality technical documentation
  • Uphold high code quality standards by reviewing, approving, and offering constructive feedback on peer code submissions.
  • Be a mentor for others in the team, holding a high bar for technical decisions 

Recommended Experience:

  • Significant experience with one of more device management systems including experience with Jamf, Microsoft Endpoint Manager (formerly known as Intune), Chrome Enterprise
  • Proficiency in at least one software development language (Python, Go, JavaScript, Powershell etc)
  • Strong experience with security tools including EDR tools like CrowdStrike, vulnerability management and patch management tools, Secure Web Gateway tools and Identity & Access Management systems with conditional access control systems like BeyondCorp Enterprise 
  • Extensive experience utilising APIs to automate tasks and build robust integrations
  • A user's first mindset and a focus on creating great user experiences
  • Familiarity with third-party and open source CPE tools
