About the TeamThe Specialty Retail team is an important enterprise sales team overseeing some of the company’s largest advertisers, who are vital to the long-term growth and success of Cardlytics. The Specialty Retail team consists of Retail, DTC, Subscriptions, Telco, and Autos clients.

About the PositionReports to: Client Success Lead, Specialty Retail

The Sr. Client Success Manager is an integral part of the Specialty Retail sales team. Our team is in full-on build mode and this role has the opportunity to make a huge impact on the team’s success. They must be capable of developing strong relationships with their clients, deeply understanding their clients marketing objectives, creating and executing on strategic business plans to achieve those objectives, and ultimately maximizing the business opportunity for their clients and Cardlytics.

Responsibilities:The Sr. CSM is responsible for owning and growing a book of existing business composed of several large, Specialty Retail and DTC clients. They are also responsible for supporting a book of business owned by a Partner Lead (PL), who is tasked with securing new business and growing key accounts.

Within the Sr. CSM’s own book of business, their key focus areas will be maintaining and creating new client/agency relationships, identifying and closing upsell opportunities, and managing annual renewals. They will also need to partner with internal stakeholders such as Analytics, Operations, and Product to deliver effectively and efficiently on business plans and performance solutions. From a tactical standpoint, they will work in partnership with internal XFN teams to ensure successful and accurate campaign implementation and contractual obligations are met.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years of digital advertising experience, managing a book of business, driving strategic learning agendas, and building high value internal and external relationships.
  • Experience in compelling data-backed storytelling and recommendations and experience managing forecasts and achieving goals.
  • Proven track record of billings growth with existing partnerships. 
  • Travel: Quarterly team onsite meetings in ATL, 1-2 weeks in office (NY or ATL) during onboarding. Up to 25% monthly travel related to client meetings throughout the year.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with or at a media agency
  • Experience within the Retail or DTC space
  • Programmatic knowledge
