You will be a part of the core team that redefines how a product should be sold at Pure Storage!You will develop and deliver software product(s) and APIs to help differentiate Pure from ourcompetitors.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...

Understand and implement software development/engineering lifecycle concepts to drivefeatures from conception to delivery based on product roadmap.● Software analysis, code analysis, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis,software reliability analysis.● Develop REST APIs, work on integrations with Salesforce, ServiceNow, Okta and partners platforms.● Take pride in software quality through rigorous functional testing and writing automatedunit tests.● Maintain effective client relations and rapport - delivering timely and relevant informationwith the ability to quickly identify and report project risks.● Post-delivery - assists client teams in supporting the live application and performing handoff, writing runbooks for operational tasks, creating metrics dashboard, knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long term success.

 Requirements● At least 5 years of professional, hands-on full-stack software development experience withproficiency in microservices across AWS● RESTful API design and development experience in Javascript/Typescript, Java onCloud Platforms. Experiences with building backend services on Node.js.● Web UI development experience using React.

Cloud and Infrastructure Expertise

This role requires extensive, hands-on experience across core AWS services and modern DevOps tooling:

Compute & Serverless: AWS Lambda, AWS API Gateway, AWS RDSContainerization: AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), AWS Elastic Container Registry (ECR)Networking & Delivery: CloudFrontMessaging & Queuing: AWS Simple Queue Service (SQS)Security: AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM)Infrastructure/OS: Hands-on experience with Linux/Unix and DockerOrchestration Tools: Experience with Rancher Platform for EKS

Engineering Quality and Fundamentals

  • Testing: Strong commitment to Automated Test-Driven Development (TDD), including writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit (for Java) and Jest (for Javascript).
  • Computer Science: A good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • CI/CD (Plus): Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools, particularly Argos and Spinnaker, is a significant advantage.

 

We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the {{OFFICE_LOCATION}} office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity. 

There is no application deadline and we accept applications on an ongoing basis until the job is filled.

The annual base salary range is: $149,000—$224,000 USD
