Your mission

As a Community Manager (m/f/x) within our focus area of AI Innovation Insights, you will play a pivotal role in fostering an engaged community around our offers and services in the specific field of AI Innovation. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community members within the Startup and Innovation ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a passion for network building and a deep understanding of the European AI Ecosystem, especially regarding AI Startups. Your main tasks will be:

  • Develop and implement strategies to grow and nurture the community within AI Innovation. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for community members - such as AI Startups, SMEs, VCs, or other (non-profit) organizations.
  • Create and execute initiatives to increase community engagement - especially for AI Startups and SMEs. Monitor and moderate community discussions to ensure a respectful and safe environment.
  • Identify and address any potential issues or conflicts within the community. Be at the forefront of recent AI developments and understand the most pressing issues of the communities.
  • Act as the voice of the community within the organization, providing feedback and insights to improve products, services or processes.
  • Enhance the AI Startup Ecosystem 2024 by managing existing and acquiring key stakeholders of the German and European AI Ecosystem.
  • Coordinate the EU Startup Landscape developments with our European partner countries
  • Create and curate content that resonates with the AI Innovation Insight community. 
  • Track and analyze key community metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to management on community engagement and sentiment.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Political Science, or a related (social) field. For this role, your practical experience is more important than your formal education.
  • Ideally you have experience either working or founding in an (AI) Startups. You should have  close ties to the German and / or Startup Ecosystem
  • Proven experience in community management or a related role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of structural contact management (e.g., Hubspot).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of analytics tools and data-driven decision-making.
  • Ideally you have experience working under a Scrum/Agile methodology, proficiency working within JIRA and using AI in your job is a plus.
  • For this role, fluency in written and spoken German and English required as all of our content comes in German and English language.
