THE ROLE 

Key responsibilities 

Senior Consultants work as part of the Strategy and Consulting team at Agilisys leading or working with multi-disciplinary project teams, supporting a range of digital and data transformation projects with a focus on strategic development and service design. The Digital Business Analyst will be an expert helping clients with business process improvements through use of technology and data.

Specific duties 

Depending on the project, you will need to be comfortable doing the following: 

  • Have a desire to learn about, and work with, the public sector. 
  • Are passionate about the role digital transformation can play in improving outcomes and lives. 
  • Are interested in the strategic value of digital and data transformation for organisations 
  • Foster a collaborative approach by building and nurturing strong relationships with stakeholders, both within Agilisys and with external partners, to achieve shared goals and deliver exceptional outcomes. 
  • Embrace a culture of innovation and agility, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and adaptation. 
  • Managing or Supporting projects across the full span of digital and data consultancy, ranging from rapid insight sprints and proofs of concept through to strategy and operating model design and implementation programmes. 
  • Providing subject matter expertise in one or more areas within digital and data consultancy and the public sector, and helping to support and steer projects across the practice to their successful conclusion. 
  • Supporting the development of new consulting opportunities to new and existing clients and markets on behalf of the Strategy and Consulting practice. 
  • Developing new propositions that enable clients to meet future challenges which further develop the Agilisys brand in key markets.

  • Knowledge and experience of business process improvements and re-engineering approaches for digital transformation projects. 
  • Examples of leading a small – midsized team on numerous projects or workstream on defined projects or programme. 
  • Demonstrably self-motivated, able to guide and direct others to achieve complex goals and objectives. 
  • A good communicator with demonstrable experience of delivering successful proposals (including preparation of bid documents and delivery of presentations). 
  • Engagement with delivery teams and ability to direct and or influence approach to achieve goals and objectives; ability to produce and then deliver supporting communications. 
  • Role model for company values, good understanding, and engagement with others, whilst managing their emotions, able to put themselves in other’s shoes and respond rather than react. 

Desirable 

  • Experience of working within public sector or related consulting environment. 
  • Experience of Data Strategy and Transformation projects. 
  • Experience of managing a team. 
  • Knowledge and understanding of automation (UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere etc). 
  • Knowledge and experience of Process Task mining. 
  • Knowledge or Experience using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
