About the Senior Consultant, Custom Deployments at Showpad

 

To support our rapid growth and innovation, Showpad is hiring a Senior Consultant, Custom Deployments. In this role, you will be accountable for end-to-end service and project definition & delivery across all projects within the Service Domain assigned. In addition, you will take on large, complex, and/or strategic service domain projects for key clients.  

 

This role will report into the Global Director, Implementation & Consulting Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Scoping Support and Approval: Provide scoping support to Service Definition Managers and approve custom scopes for project workstreams aligned to the service domain.
  • End-to-End Service Accountability: Accountable for end-to-end service and project definition & delivery across the portfolio of projects within the Service Domain. Collaborate with Service Definition Managers to design service packages that are easy to sell and speak to customers in each phase of the customer lifecycle and positively impact net retention, time to value and usage and adoption.
  • Project Oversight and Coaching: Oversee project delivery and coach PSCs assigned to projects within the Service Domain.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Accountable for reporting on the service segment's success metrics, including Bookings, Overrun, CSAT, and Project Status.
  • Service Domain Project delivery:  Act consultatively with customers to create tailored services to their use case, audience and business needs – if a customised solution is required
  • Service Domain Operational Excellence:
    • Define and maintain processes, collateral and templates for standardised and consistent project delivery within the Service Domain.
    • Demonstrate a strong commitment to following established project-specific processes, methodologies, and workflows to a high standard
    • Contribute to new process development if required
    • Maintain good project hygiene in our PSA tool, ensuring completeness & accuracy 
    • Routinely utilize internal tools to streamline tasks & productively manage projects
  • Knowledge Transfer & Leadership:
    • Contribute Subject Matter Expertise on projects if required
    • Own the Enablement of Consultants to deliver services within the service domain, sharing domain knowledge and insights 
    • Facilitate knowledge transfer and mentorship to other Consultants to ensure that several team members have a deep understanding of domain-specific expertise

Service Domain Expertise:

    • Serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert in the specified Service Domain 

Service Definition:

    • Collaborate with customers and the Service Definition Managers to tailor solutions that align with domain-specific requirements:
      • Own the definition of services to be offered within the domain
      • Own the domain’s primary delivery methodology and framework
      • Provide input into the training materials used by Showpad Academy on the service domain of interest
    • Collaborate with Service Definition Managers to create service offerings that are repeatable and standardised in scope and can serve many customers
  • Cultural Advocacy:
    • Act as a strong culture carrier of the Showpad showings within the team and broader company environment.
  • Maintain the minimum target billable utilisation rate 

Skills we are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in a role related to the Service Domain with proven results
  • 3+ years technical experience in the Service Domain
  • Strong leadership, delegation, project management, and coaching skills to successfully drive Service Domain projects within the professional services team.
  • Excellent verbal and presentation skills, both virtually and in-person, to engage and inspire customers
  • Experience in a high-growth software/SaaS environment
  • Passion for making customers successful and commitment to providing an effortless customer experience
  • Proactive and resourceful; takes initiative
  • Strong technology skills 
  • Fluency in English
