Senior Consumer Experience Analyst | Bankrate
As a Senior Consumer Experience Analyst, you’ll work with RV business leaders and drive the operations of one of the consumer-facing, personal finance verticals within our Bankrate.com brand. You'll iterate through customer experience optimization (journey optimization), deep diving into visitor behavior and performance, and driving the creation of new features and tools that enhance the customer experience and drive additional revenue.
*This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our Fort Mill, SC Headquarters or our NYC Office (Monday through Thursday) and work fully remotely on Fridays each week.
What You'll Do:
- Own testing initiatives and product feature development from start to finish using statistical techniques to build hypotheses, examine data, and derive actionable conclusions.
- Develop actionable insights and define KPIs to measure success through rigorous analytical thinking.
- Analyze their performance against core KPIs that align with the broader business goals.
- Manage the development of user-centric features & flows to help streamline the customer experience and drive additional value to the business.
- Operate as an owner of the site, using data and a deep understanding of our users to identify areas to optimize, troubleshoot functionality, and work with others to develop solutions that enhance the experience and performance of the site.
- Work directly with Engineers and Creative teams to define features and create a site experience roadmap to bring your ideas to life
- Communicate timelines, goals, and performance to diverse audiences, including engineers, content writers, digital designers, fellow analysts, and senior leaders.
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of experience as a Digital Operations Analyst, Product Analyst, or Business analyst with hands-on data analysis experience to pull strategic insights
- Experience leading and/managing a team of more junior analysts
- Experience developing and implementing growth marketing strategy in collaboration with senior leaders and stakeholders
- Proficient in SQL, BigQuery, or DataGrip (preferred); can weave together data from multiple relational databases.
- Able to apply foundational analytical techniques (segmentation, clustering, correlation, regression, classification etc.) to enhance analysis to discover deeper trends and relationships to determine action items
- Ability to discern signal from noise using statistical approaches such as sampling, hypothesis testing, and a/b testing
- Demonstrated strong ability to access, manipulate, and understand full funnel datasets and technical platforms without oversight (sql) and build relevant reports, dashboards and visualizations to answer business questions (Excel, Tableau, Looker etc.)
- Strong grasp of relevant raw event data and can track data pathing from ingest to database. Able to build custom queries to manipulate data to answer new questions we dont answer on a day to day basis
Compensation:
- Cash compensation range: $100,000 - $130,000*
- New York City Compensation Range: $100,000- $162,500*Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
