Hours: 12pm - 7.30pm

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior CRO Manager to join our strategic partnership with a prominent international B2B events organisation, supporting their North American division.

As a vital member of a 12-person team, you will contribute significantly to maximising the effectiveness of our client's digital assets through rigorous optimisation and data-driven strategies.

In this contract role, you serve as both an architect and executor— you’ll be an experienced CRO practitioner with a keen understanding of data, user behaviour, and digital marketing. You’ll be passionate about optimising digital experiences to drive conversions and impact business outcomes.

Our client is a leader in their industry, known for their ambition and innovation. They seek a collaborative partner to help them achieve their strategic goals, and this position is central to fulfilling those objectives.

What you will be doing:
  • Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive CRO strategies that align with business goals. This involves identifying areas of opportunity on the website and digital platforms to improve conversion rates.
  • Data Analysis: Use tools like Google Analytics, heatmaps, and user feedback to analyse user behaviour and identify barriers to conversion. This analysis informs tests and changes to website design or content.
  • A/B Testing and Experimentation: Plan, execute, and analyse A/B tests and multivariate tests to understand which changes lead to improvements in conversion rates. Analyse test results and provide actionable insights to improve user experience and conversion rates
  • User Experience Optimisation: Collaborate with web managers and website team to ensure that website improvements not only convert better but also enhance the overall user experience.
  • Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure CRO initiatives align with broader marketing and business objectives.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Develop and maintain reports on conversion performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by regularly updating optimisation strategies based on test results and emerging trends.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Lead and mentor within the team, guiding their professional development and ensuring alignment with strategic goals
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues
What you need to be great in this role:
  • Advanced understanding of CRO best practices and methodologies
  • Proven experience with A/B and multivariate testing tools e.g. Adobe Target
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Hotjar
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies
  • You can be the change - you prioritise environmental responsibility, social equity, and economic viability and how that translates into your day-to-day role
