The Senior Copywriter plays an essential role in developing the concept and realization of brand campaigns, content ideas, storytelling platforms and consumer experiences. The Senior Copywriter contributes exceptional creative thought and craft to take projects from brief to execution.

Candidates for this position must be based in Los Angeles and on-site collaboration will be expected at least part-time. Our Los Angeles studio offers team members the opportunity to produce meaningful work for world-class companies and institutions in one of the world’s most vibrant cities. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrate a combination of strategic, conceptual, and executional writing skills resulting in original, persuasive, and compelling work.
• Lead projects from briefing through concept ideation, creative development, and production with the support of senior creative team (Creative Director/Design Director/Art Director/Sr. Designer). 
• Work across a range of formats for campaign assets (TVC, brand manifestos, social content, long-form and short-form copywriting), digital product copy and brand guidelines.
• Synthesize and respond to briefs effectively so as to guide the process toward innovative creative proposals with consideration for brand, budget, and timeline.
• Communicate ideas and proposals with exceptional clarity and craft—both verbally and through presentations for internal and client-facing meetings. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• A compelling portfolio of distinctive work that demonstrates conceptual thinking, a highly developed grasp of language, tone of voice and storytelling, and the ability to craft projects with care and brand-appropriate perspective.
• A desire to break boundaries, continually improve, and craft memorable, world-class projects.
• Fluency with presentation tools (Keynote, Google Slides) and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, G-suite, Zoom, Teams, etc.). 
• 4-7 years of professional design experience.
