Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Creative Manager to join our Creative Services Team based in Plantation, FL. Our Creative Managers foster best-in-class creative outcomes that deliver on our internal partner’s business objectives. They understand what strong relationships require and the best practices for growing them while delivering an exceptional level of customer service.

In this role, you will oversee creative planning and execution of Private Brands, as well as multiple channels across YouTube, blog, direct mail and paid/organic social for Chewy. You will partner with Creative Leaders to develop creative strategies and solutions for our clients’ business challenges. You will define client engagements for complex cross-functional programs, juggling multiple projects from start to finish. A passion for pets and culturally defining consumer brands is a must.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee creative planning and execution for cross-functional, multi-disciplinary programs and/or campaigns to support Private Brands 2 multiple channels across YouTube, blog, direct mail and paid/organic social for Chewy. 
  • Partner with Business and Marketing teams as they develop their briefs, serving as the voice of Creative and understanding creative process and best practices for all media (TV/OTT, PR, Site, Email, Social, Paid Media, Direct Mail and Mobile/SMS).
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer journey and help identify creative opportunities to better acquire, activate and retain target audiences. 
  • Be the expert on how creative performance will be measured and what success looks like for every engagement.
  • Assure all internal and external stakeholders are aligned on core programs.
  • Identify, build, maintain and grow relationships with client stakeholders. Influence strategy and creative. 
  • Be extremely comfortable presenting to senior level clients: consistently evoke trust and credibility through strategic thinking and communication style when presenting to leadership.
  • Ensure flawless development and execution of marketing tactics.
  • Manage and define scopes of work and creative approach.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate internal and external business recommendations, priorities, risks and tradeoffs to ensure quality control, brand reputation and best business practices.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in defining and executing a wide variety of marketing programs, processes, and best practices.
  • Be an ambassador for Creative Services in presentations and strategy discussions, instill a passion for collaboration, teamwork and inspiration.
  • Manage, motivate, and/or mentor teams.
  • Have an impact on the Creative Services output and culture.
  • Forecast, track and report on client programs and provide key insights to Senior Leadership to inform business operations and strategic planning.
  • Roll up your sleeves to pitch in wherever needed.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field 
  • 6+ years experience within an agency or marketing department setting, managing creative teams/outside creative resources and interfacing directly with senior-level client contacts
  • eCommerce and/or Retail account management experience preferred
  • Team oriented and be able to mentor and coach others
  • Customer-centric and data-driven
  • Must perform tasks as a leader – is a problem solver internally and for the stakeholder
  • Must be organized, forward-looking, detail oriented and proactive
  • Must be the ultimate team player, adaptable to a fast growing, changing environment; this role will work closely with multiple departments and leaders at all levels
  • Must be willing to go above and beyond to deliver on business needs, even if not directly in your skillset
