As a Senior Customer Marketing Manager, you will lead Databricks reference management for our EMEA customers. You will report to the Sr. Director of Customer Marketing on the Corporate Marketing team. You'll create relationships with account teams and our most strategic customers. You will align customers to advocacy opportunities that only Databricks can provide including presenting at the biggest data and AI conference in the world, global brand campaigns that position them at the forefront of tech innovation, top business media engagements, and bring their stories to life through video and case studies. This is a role for someone who wants to build a career in high-profile Customer Marketing at one of the fastest-growing software companies in the world.

The impact you will have:

  • Source, secure and manage EMEA customer reference accounts to amplify customer stories
  • Be the expert and internal go-to-resource for EMEA customer stories
  • Recruit advocates, build strategic, ongoing relationships, and grow their engagement by aligning Databricks reference activities that map to their interests and priorities
  • Align with corporate, EMEA and internal account teams to become a strategic resource to them, showing how customer advocacy can help deepen and broaden relationships with their accounts
  • Work with corporate and EMEA marketing to weave EMEA customer stories into every facet of marketing
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer stories and Databricks' technology
  • Ensure effective management and tracking of customer reference status, preferences, activities, and measurable impact
  • Increase the number of actively engaged customer references in EMEA to drive advocacy and visibility in the marketplace
  • Deliver customer references that meet all stakeholder requirements for product launches, presentations, events, media, and campaigns

What we look for:

  • 7+ years in customer marketing or reference-related role
  • Passionate about relationship building with internal and external stakeholders
  • Focused on amplification of customer stories across platforms (social, .com, YouTube)
  • Working in a high-growth, fast-paced SaaS environment
  • Building and managing customer reference programs, including pipeline management, strategic planning, reporting
  • Managing and prioritizing projects across multiple teams, and collaborating with various stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
