As a Senior Data Analyst at AKQA, you’ll deliver best in class measurement solutions, analytics and actionable insights for the benefit of our clients. You’ll work closely with digital specialists from a range of strategy, creative and technology disciplines. You will lead Adobe or Google analytics Implementations starting with a measurement approach, through to application implementation and ongoing optimisation. And you’ll provide leadership and direction to more junior team members, whilst building valued partnerships with all your clients and colleagues.

Located in Melbourne or Sydney, we work in a hybrid model, with Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in the studio each week. General Responsibilities

  • Ensure AKQA’s values are reflected in the work we do
  • Contribute to internal team meetings (Data team, AKQA all-staff)
  • Contribute to a positive work environment (culture of team)
  • Collaborate with other disciplinary teams

 

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Be the go-to person for data extraction, transformation and analysis preparation
  • Carry out reporting and analysis projects
  • Develop reporting automation capabilities using a combination of open-source and proprietary technologies
  • Generate actionable insights from data sets
  • Develop hypotheses and design A/B and multivariate test experiments

 

Technical Responsibilities

  • 5+ years of work experience in delivering digital analytics solutions, from defining/implementing measurement strategies to extracting actionable insights for guiding user experience optimization
  • Proven experience of applying agile project management frameworks to deliver digital analytics solutions
  • Understand the conceptual underpinnings of web analytics platforms, with thorough working knowledge and experience of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager and ideally a CDP
  • Familiar with best practices in web tracking and develop and configure tracking to support high-performing website/app implementations
  • Deploy and monitor A/B and multivariate tests across a variety of platforms such as GA, Adobe Target and Optimizely
  • Create reports and dashboards in Google Data/Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau and/or Qlik

 

Client Responsibilities

  • Develop understanding of the business needs and objectives of the clients in your portfolio
  • Provide proactive support to the director and account leads
  • Be a champion for AKQA and the data team
