To support this vision, we are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Data & Analytics department. The Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in identifying trends, uncovering patterns, and extracting valuable insights from business data. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leveraging Power BI to transform data into actionable insights and compelling visualisations. A sound business understanding and problem-solving abilities are also desired.

The Role: What you will do:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective reports and dashboards.
  • Utilize advanced Power BI skills to design, develop, and maintain comprehensive business dashboards.
  • Employ analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within datasets.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data visualization to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Power BI, providing guidance and support to junior analysts and business users.
  • Develop and maintain data governance standards and best practices to ensure consistency and reliability across reporting solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the data engineering team to define data models.
 

 

This is an exciting role for a lead analyst who has:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • A can-do attitude and is a self-starter.
  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including data modelling, and DAX calculations
  • A proven track record of leveraging Power BI to transform raw data into actionable insights and compelling visualizations.
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases, particularly Snowflake.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment using agile methodologies.

The Data & Analytics department serves as the central hub for data engineering and insights across our organization, comprising three essential teams: Data Engineering, Reporting & Insights, and Commercial Data. Our department operates as a unified force, cultivating a culture that empowers both analysts and engineers to excel. We foster collaboration through regular hackathons, team events, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
