At Culture Amp we’re rapidly growing our Quant and ML science capabilities.  As an applied Quant Scientist you’ll work in a team alongside People Scientists, Data Engineers, and Product Managers to embed recommendations, forecasting, statistical analysis and machine learning into products that transform the world of work.  Our scientists work across the product development pipeline from initial inception of an idea, motivating and proving its worth to delivering and maintaining the solution in product.  

As a valued members of the team, you will:

  • Deliver impactful data insights, uncover trends and make recommendations to our customers about their employee experience via our platform. 
  • Work with data engineers and other scientists to develop, test and deploy Quant and ML powered features.
  • Solve real world challenges with an ethical and human centric approach
  • Develop robust data and machine learning pipelines
  • Participate in broader conversations and skills sharing with engineers, people scientists and data scientists
  • Stay up to date with current research, literature and provider offerings
  • Solve real world challenges with an ethics and human centric approach
  • Focus on applications of Natural Language Processing as well as Generative AI

You have 

  • Curiosity and a learning mindset
  • Industry, or equivalent academic, experience in researching and developing ML/AI models
  • Direct trend analysis, forecasting and recommendation experience
  • Comfortable with SQL, preferably with a big data system like Athena, Presto Redshift, SparkSQL, or BigQuery
  • Experience in Python data science space - pandas, numpy, sklearn, scipy etc.
  • Strong experimental design, statistical testing skills
  • Good understanding of machine learning models, and model validation.
  • Understanding of  data modelling and exposure to tools like metaflow or airflow is desirable.
  • Bonus if you are comfortable with common software practices like version control, continuous deployment, and testing.
