About the PositionLocation:New York City, NY (Hybrid) 

The Senior Data Scientist, Revenue Analytics will formulate and apply advanced analytical approaches in developing revenue models and forecasts for Cardlytics.  Design, implement and manage best practices for sales forecasting, planning, and performance reporting. 

Responsibilities

  • Work on complex data science and machine learning projects to understand and deliver solutions in pricing, revenue forecasting and pipeline success, as well as capacity planning and cost of sales
  • Become intuitively familiar with the cycle of our business, customer behaviors and marketplace logic that shapes up our business
  • Be the go to person for daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly revenue projections
  • Create solutions that can be used for diagnostic and predictive analytics 
  • Define and track KPIs related to predicting quote attainment, forecast accuracy and own and develop forecasting logic and calculations for weighted pipeline and actuals
  • Partner with Product, Finance, Sales and Client Success to create visualizations leveraging performance data and SFDC.
  • Partner with product and analytics to make recommendations based off of revenue and other insights that you encounter as you build your forecast.
  • Be familiar with the different levers and what they can accomplish to move core KPIs of our marketplace 
  • Simplify complex problems and huge data sets to extract non-obvious insights

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Experience in revenue management programming languages and query writing including Python, R, SQL etc.
  • Experience building forecasting models using time series/ regression models.
  • SFDC experience including familiarity with SFDC CRMA/ Tableau.
  • Extreme attention to detail, outstanding work ethic and sense of urgency, and a data-driven approach to making decisions and measuring performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ad tech/online advertising is a major plus

Compensation
  • The anticipated base salary for this role is $185,000- $210,000 annually, not including bonus and other benefits. Cardlytics’ salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, and individual pay may be determined by additional factors such as role-related skills, experience, education, training, and more.
