The DC Devops team at Liveperson is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DC Engineering.
We will provide you the grounds to succeed, an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.
You will:
- Designing and implementing data center infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and power and cooling systems.
- Managing data center operations, including monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Developing and implementing data center policies and procedures to ensure security and compliance with regulations.
- Planning and executing data center expansion and upgrades to meet growing business needs.
- Collaborating with other teams, such as network engineering, security, and software development, to support their needs and integrate with data center infrastructure.
- Training and mentoring junior data center engineers and technicians.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) may be preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in data center operations, with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Strong knowledge of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
- Experience with data center management tools and software, such as monitoring and automation tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with colleagues across different teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and standards for data center operations and security.
