The Data Operations team at Liveperson is looking for an experienced DevOps engineer: a candidate that takes on challenges, continuously expands his area of expertise and naturally takes ownership of his work. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, an eagerness to follow good practices and a desire to apply his skills in the field of DevOps.
We will provide you the grounds to succeed, an embracing working environment and very complex and interesting technical challenges to solve.
You will:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Automate software build, deployment, and testing processes.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth integration of code changes.
- Monitor and optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of CI/CD systems.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in CI/CD and GitLab.
You have:
- 5+ years of solid experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role - MUST
- 2+ years of experience with GitLab, including GitLab CI/CD - MUST
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using tools such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell - MUST
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies: Kubernetes - MUST, Docker - advantage
- Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code concepts using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud - MUST
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- GitLab certification (GitLab Certified Associate or Professional).
- Experience with GitLab Enterprise Edition and advanced GitLab features.
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and related tools (e.g., Flux).
