We’re looking for a highly motivated and effective marketing leader who will be the single threaded owner of developing end to end marketing strategy and customer acquisition plans to grow and scale our global workforce management (WFM) solution in the US market, as well as crafting creative and results-oriented marketing initiatives to deepen our global enterprise partnerships in China, Americas, APAC and Europe.   

As Senior Director, Marketing, you will be a key driver in the North America and Global Enterprise Go-to-market organization, leading marketing activities across these strategic businesses. You are responsible for defining, deploying and managing a world-class, marketing strategy and team.  The role looks at the full addressable market for Payoneer, from freelancers, through small businesses, mid-sized firms and enterprise partners, through all the stages of customer journey. You will engage in brand building, customer acquisition, pipeline generation, and ongoing customer marketing in order to achieve acquisition, retention and revenue targets. Reporting directly to the SVP of North America and Global Enterprise, the ideal candidate is a proven marketing leader with extensive experience in technology especially SaaS product marketing, someone who can both think strategically and dive deep into various marketing activities; who thrives on making data-driven decisions and will be a key thought leader and an effective enabler of scalable programs that grow Payoneer’s  customer base and product adoption.

This role will be based in our New York, NY office.

What you'll do: 

  • Translate Payoneer’s business goals and OKRs into end to end marketing strategies across key countries, product lines, and customer segments
  • Develop and articulate product oriented segmentation, positioning, targeting and communication plans and drive executive and stakeholder buy-in  
  • Coach, lead and manage a team of marketing professionals who are responsible for developing and executing high-performing marketing strategies to over-deliver a set of quantitative targets.
  • Partner hand in hand with the central marketing team, define the regional marketing strategy for customer acquisition, lead generation and nurturing of potential customers for the SMB offering and enterprise clients.
  • Localize the product marketing strategy, connecting the dots between existing and new products, positioning them to the market and building detail-oriented go-to market plans.
  • Deliver comprehensive, sustainable, and effective growth marketing plans for SMB customer acquisition, new pipeline generation, joint partner marketing and cross-sell to existing customer accounts.
  • Align with the global brand story of Payoneer and localize the message for the region in a manner that articulates the values and ultimately increases NPS and Share of Voice across the region.
  • Be the voice of the North America SMB customers, as well as global enterprise partners, develop customer insights-driven targeting strategies, messaging and creativity that resonates with the pain points and needs of our customers.
  • Work cross-functionally to continuously refine sales and marketing KPIs, manage and optimize customer lifecycle management and reporting to drive higher conversion rates.
  • Manage marketing budget, measuring and optimizing marketing programs to ensure activities are effective, efficient, and demonstrate ROI.
  • Be an entrepreneur. Own it, Do it. Talk to customers and partners, understand their needs and what drives them, take on projects and be ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the details of campaigns, content, messaging and more.

What we're looking for: 

  • 10+ years’ experience of hands on and marketing leadership roles in mid-size public companies in the technology and fin-tech industries
  • Proven track record in marketing to SMBs and enterprise customer segments
  • Solid background and experience in the world of payments or fintech
  • Track record of successful marketing campaign development and execution on a global basis with a clear ROI model across program investments
  • Leader that gets the most out of their team, inspires them with new ways of thinking and a creative spirit, and represents the voice of marketing with management
  • Proven experience in leading both strategy and execution of ROI-based marketing programs
  • Analytical mind and a passion for diving into data to inform decision-making
  • Growth mindset, excited about solving tough problems no one else has solved
  • Relationship builder who intuitively knows how to gain trust of business owners, colleagues, and customers
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to juggle multiple objectives, projects, and tasks, while sticking to tight deadlines
  • MBA from a reputable program is preferred

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus.

The annual base salary range for this position is: $265,000 - $290,000.
