Senior Embedded Software Engineer, Internal Tools
World is a network of real humans, built on privacy-preserving proof-of-human technology, and powered by a globally inclusive financial network that enables the free flow of digital assets for all. It is built to connect, empower, and be owned by everyone.
About the OrbCentral to World's launch is the "Proof-of-Personhood" system, facilitated by our unique biometric device, the Orb. This advanced imaging device is crucial for verifying human identity and ensuring an individual hasn’t already claimed their free share of Worldcoin. Orbs are operated by a global network of operators to register users, capturing iris encodings and ensuring secure data submission to World's backend. Our privacy-preserving approach to Proof-of-Personhood is detailed further in the World whitepaper.
