Our best-in-class Talent team is looking for an experienced Sr. Benefits Associate to help achieve this mission on our Total Rewards team. 

As an influential and integral member of the Benefits team, you will be tasked with providing tactical and strategic input to Total Rewards workstreams, sharing insight and advice with respect to project planning as the Talent team grows and scales, understanding and driving federal and state/provincial employment laws, coaching and development of team members, analysis of market trends, benefits funding arrangements and more.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as subject matter expert for core employee benefits such as medical insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, etc. for North American staff
  • Engage with our employees on their benefits; answer questions, drive understanding and streamline the experience for them
  • Manage enrollment data and support internal and external audits
  • Oversee monthly billing process
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for department and employee resource centers
  • Assist in reviewing plan documents and materials
  • Innovate and improve on current processes, partnering closely with the payroll and HRIS teams to drive efficiencies
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations as needed
  • Work with vendor partners and HRIS to manage file feeds as needed
  • Run standard reports and perform ad hoc reporting as requested

What You'll Need

  • 3+ years of dedicated Human Resources (HR) work experience with 2+ years of Benefits experience preferred 
  • Working knowledge of state and federal leaves of absence laws and accommodations under ADA
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred - equivalent experience and proven results in HR Management, Benefits, FMLA, ADA will also be strongly considered
  • Ability to build productive relationships and influence all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively manage timelines, delivery, and communication across teams
  • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills, while also being able to work autonomously
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and works with urgency
  • Service orientation with a consultative lens
  • Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
  • Experience working with Workday and administering Canadian benefits a plus
