Senior Engineering Manager - Patient Services (x/f/m)
What you’ll do
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams whose goal is to improve patient access to healthcare. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading a high performing and user centric engineering organization of 4 feature teams, while delivering positive team engagement scores;
- Elevating our patient products in order to become the undisputed leader in access to healthcare in Europe with a specific emphasis on improving the search, booking, and messaging experiences;
- Defining the engineering strategy and delivery for Doctolib’s core patient application;
- Be the end-to-end owner of your teams’ delivery, quality, objectives;
- Set standards and exceed security, reliability, performance and scalability requirements that are needed to continue to be the most trusted e-health SaaS;
- Drive continuous process improvements for managing, documenting, staffing, and reviewing engineering projects and services;
- Participate in architecture reviews to ensure that the solution delivered by your team meets Doctolib quality standards;
- Partnering with talent & people teams to recruit, develop and retain talent;
- Lead cross functional initiatives to up-level our engineering team.

- You have at least 8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years of experience as manager of managers, leading a large distributed product development team;
- You have experience scaling and leading a technical organization, while implementing best-in-class methodologies;
- You have strong technical skills, with a track record of building multi product and multi country complex systems;
- You are eager to design solutions and coach teams who will primarily be working with React, React Native, Ruby on Rails and Java;
- You have proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable and secure products;
- You think critically and objectively; with a solutions oriented approach while adapting to the most efficient technologies;
- You are an effective communicator with the ability to translate company goals into team objectives;
- You recognize yourself in our leadership principles and playbook;
- You have a strong sense of ownership with a bias for action.

- You are fluent in English
