Dropbox is growing in Poland, and we’re looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to support this growth. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, scalability, sustainability, and efficiency of Dropbox's network, supporting the company's mission to design a more enlightened way of working. You will be directly responsible for driving efforts to evolve and build our next-generation technologies, including managing our edge network to improve user performance, supporting the multi-terabit backbone network that spans continents to interconnect edge PoPs and multiple data centers, and driving unit cost reduction and task cost reduction through automation. • You will manage the hardware, software, and overall health of the Dropbox production network, while supporting our multi-year strategy and roadmap aimed at implementing an advanced network architecture to support our evolving business needs
• You will be responsible for growing and developing an incredible team of hardworking and motivated engineers with high expectations around individual ownership and impact

• You will ensure your team delivers extraordinary output, and continuously seeks ways to make an outsized impact
• You will set direction for the team, anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges via thoughtful long-term planning
• You will help craft technical and product strategy

• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience with an engineering team
• Experience as a software developer

• Experience in networking engineering, software, and distributed systems
• Experience in the design and operation of large scale networks (Clos fabrics, Edge TE, Optical)
• Experience in defining and executing Security models/policy for networks, data
• Experience in coding/automation of network maintenance tasks
• Experience translating business needs into network engineering opportunities to drive strategic agendas

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). 

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):zł27,600 - zł32,500 - zł37,400 per month
