RippleX team is growing, and we are seeking an ambitious engineering manager to lead our platform and performance engineering teams.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Manage and mentor team members for professional and technical growth, while providing hands-on leadership.
  • Develop and deliver the roadmap in alignment with business and organizational goals
  • Deliver results and think strategically while balancing both short and long term
  • Encourage and drive engineering best practices
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders across Ripple and in the XRPL community
  • Implement agile processes for innovation and incremental objectives.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING: 

  • Overall 10+ years of progressive experience out of which, 6+ years of hands-on backend engineering and 4+ years people management / leadership experience managing 8 or more engineers.
  • Strong experience in DevOps / Infrastructure / Performance engineering.
  • Extensive experience on managing cloud infrastructure, preferably with AWS.
  • Experience with highly scalable multi-region distributed systems.
  • Strong passion for solid platform fundamentals such as automation, scalability, availability and performance.
  • Solid leadership, cross functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • BS in Computer Science or similar
