What's the opportunity? 🤔

Intercom is gearing up for a huge year of go-to-market activity. Brand events are a big part of that plan.

The Intercom Events team is looking for their second key hire - a Senior-Level Events Manager with experience producing brand events and activations at a global scale.You'll drive and work on a variety of project types, collaborating with our partners on our marketing team as well as across the broader organization.

What will I be doing? 🚀
  • Produce live/online brand events and experiences for tier 1 marketing campaigns
  • Drive Intercom’s brand sponsorships and activations program from concept to final execution
  • Partner with expert suppliers and agencies to execute world-class activation and guerrilla programs
  • Create high-quality work that delivers on our brand and business strategy
  • Support the planning and execution of Intercom’s tier 1 creative productions eg. a customer conference
  • Continuously learn about Intercom’s products and maintain deep empathy with B2B SaaS and Customer Support audiences
  • Traveling as needed (30% of the time)
What skills do I need? 📖
  • 6+ years of events experience with a portfolio showcasing a breadth of event management work
  • An innate understanding and care of brand representation
  • Ability to take broad visions and develop them into strategic, structured, measurable plans
  • Ability to stay on top of production trends while remaining true to Intercom’s core brand identity
  • Experience with large-scale event budget management
  • Experience working with event and video production consultants and agencies
  • Experience working across multiple teams and disciplines collaboratively and effectively
  • Ability to communicate with precision, clarity, honesty and respect
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Experience with live online event management
Bonus skills & attributes 🙌
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or event management
  • Previous experience working in-house with a tech brand or in-agency
  • Second language - French, Portuguese
  • Proficiency and preference in online event software solutions such as ticketing and virtual events platforms
