About the Role

The Executive Assistant role at Mixpanel is a high value and highly trusted EA position. You will become the right hand to our CEO and People/Legal/Finance team executives to make their time more efficient and productive. You will also be a cultural champion in Mixpanel’s beautiful San Francisco offices on the water at Pier 1 in San Francisco.  You will help with project planning and helping to organize matters for the company’s executive staff. And you will preempt the needs and requirements of the executives you support, and be one step ahead of the game, while always maintaining confidentiality, integrity & professionalism. This role requires proactiveness, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple high priority requests, while interfacing professionally with people inside and outside the company.

This role has in-office expectations of 3-5 days per week, as well as supporting in person events happening in the SF office and occasionally elsewhere. 

Responsibilities
  • Be a cultural champion in Mixpanel’s SF Headquarters office, to help Mixpanel’s culture thrive, and help to build great relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts
  • Serve as the face of Mixpanel on behalf of the CEO and People/Legal/Finance executive teams and help to build great relationships with internal stakeholders and external contacts
  • Inform the executive team of upcoming responsibilities, ensuring changes to schedules are thoroughly communicated
  • Act as a gatekeeper to ensure the CEO, and People/Legal/Finance executives are able to spend their time on the highest priority issues
  • High-volume calendaring; coordinating all appointments and meetings, managing conflicts, and working around personal commitments
  • Coordinate both internal and external meetings, as well as events, with a high level of judgment around what is top of mind for the company
  • Coordinate and play a leading role in company all hands meetings
  • Organize domestic and foreign travel, accommodation, and transportation
  • Prepare monthly expense reports and take on special projects as needed
  • Prepare and edit presentations, communications, and other documents
  • Communicate on behalf of the executive team to clients, investors, partners, board members, and team managers
  • Project planning and helping organize matters for the company’s executive staff 
  • Coordinate with other stakeholders/owners, and sometimes lead, on planning company, cultural and office events, including the EOY party and other company events
  • Act as an advocate for promoting and developing Mixpanel’s company culture

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications; working knowledge of Notion, Slack and Accrualify are a plus
  • 5-8 years+ in an EA or similar role
  • Our ideal candidate has multiple years’ experience supporting executives in fast-moving technology companies, with excellent references

Compensation

The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here.Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
