Wayfair is looking for an analytical and highly driven Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Operations Finance team and support the Fulfillment vertical within CastleGate. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful and energetic team player who can leverage financial data to effectively drive results in a fast-paced environment. More specifically, this person will be responsible for reporting key financial metrics, building detailed financial models/forecasts/budgets, gathering large data sets, and partnering with internal stakeholders (primarily in Operations) to monitor, analyze, and optimize Wayfair’s fulfillment network/supply chain. 

Job Description:

• Provide financial reporting, analysis, forecasting for CastleGate Fulfillment
• Help drive operational improvements and reduce costs across the Fulfillment network by creating, monitoring, and enforcing monthly budgets
• Evaluate and improve the long-term economics and profitability of the Fulfillment business
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional groups across Wayfair, including Operations, FP&A, Engineering, and Technology
• Know the numbers behind the Fulfillment business inside and out

Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor Degree; quantitative majors such as mathematics, economics, computer science, and engineering preferred
• 2+ years of work experience
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with data analysis preferred
• Experience with SQL preferred but not required
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable thinking outside of the box to drive results
• Entrepreneurial and proactive about tackling new projects
