What you will do:

As Senior Specialist Finance at Wayfair Bangalore TDC, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies, month-end reporting, and tax reporting. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of month-close reports and driving the book close process, including compliance with global routines.
  • Preparation of data for Internal audit, IFC audit and coordination with auditors for timely closure.
  • Working closely with tax consultants for preparation of information and filing of year-end statutory returns and tax audit
  • Preparation of working files, reconciliations for monthly statutory payments (TDS, GST)
  • Preparation of financial statements, schedules etc. for year-end statutory audit. Ensuring compliance with Indian GAAP.
  • Tracking of income tax, GST, other regulatory notices/amendments applicable to the company, with support from external consultants, Team Lead and Head Finance.
  • Review all month-end closing activities including general ledger accounts, balance sheet accounts.
  • Ensuring accurate accounting of fixed assets, running monthly depreciation reports, maintaining fixed asset register (FAR) per GAAP.
  • Ensuring monthly GST Returns, Quarterly TDS returns filings etc. are filed timely and accurately.
  • Hands on knowledge of operational tasks/process on various regulatory portal (Income tax, TRACES, GST etc.)
  • Assisting Team Lead/Head Finance with any ad-hoc compliances/stakeholder requests.

 

We are a Match because:

CA Inter/MBA/Commerce Graduate with work experience of 4-6 years in Corporate Finance/Accounting/Controllers function of a company or in mid-size CA firms.

  • Strong accounting skills (preparation of financial statements, audit experience).
  • Working knowledge of income tax, GST, TDS provisions
  • Good MS Excel skills
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, and good interpersonal skills
  • Experience using SAP preferred.
