What you’ll do

You will report to the VP Finance, among a large team of 40+ people. You will be the key link between the Italian finance team and the global finance team, working daily with the MD Italy. Being in a group of 2800 people, the Italian branch is composed of 300 people and still keeps a startup-like spirit where you will be able to fully thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Your missions include but are not limited to:

1) Support to Managing Director Italy (Business partner & financial advisor):

  • Challenge/support the local leadership team where and when relevant to ensure the Group meets its quantitative objectives by providing data-based insights
  • Take ownership of specific critical initiatives where relevant
  • Ensure the optimal allocation of the company to its most relevant Strategic priorities

2) Finance:

  • Report on actuals and in-year forecast to global finance
  • Coordinate long term planning for EBITDA, CAPEX, efficiency savings and  KPIs
  • Act as the Finance steward within the region (procurement, real-estate, accounting, payroll, FP&A):
  • Ensure execution of local Finance & Accounting, Payroll and Procurement activities in accordance with policies and controls defined
  • Keep close contacts with local banks, authorities, governments, auditing firms and other financial stakeholders
  • Coordinate key strategic financial projects for the company's Global Finance
  • Support M&A in qualifying transaction or partnering opportunities and perform deal execution locally (including support of due diligence, planning, steering and carry out of the post-merger integration)

To achieve these objectives, you will work closely with a dedicated FP&A business partner working for Italy. You will split your time between corporate duties (monthly closing & reporting, forecast & budget) and ad-hoc analysis for Italy. You can also count on the support of the data team. This role doesn’t have direct management, however you will benefit from a dotted line with the local Corporate services team & dedicated FP&A business partner. At group level, you are part of the DLT (Doctolib Leadership Team).
