POSITION:  Senior Financial Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Own forecasting and financial analysis for several Tripadvisor business units;
• Help automate and optimize both business processes and reporting and analytics as it relates to the business units supported;
• Provide regular financial reporting for the senior business and financial leadership team;
• Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the GM, product, and analytics;
• Provide timely and dependable financial performance updates Finance Leadership and the organizations you support vs Plan, Prior Year and Prior Forecasts;
• Anticipate and communicate risks and opportunities;
• Work closely with the broader TripAdvisor Finance and Accounting teams to ensure that the business complies with TripAdvisor’s financial policies, processes, and calendar;
• and assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
• Telecommuting permitted up to 80%

REQUIREMENTS:

• The position requires a bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 48 months of experience in the job offered or a Senior Financial Analyst-related occupation.
• Position also requires demonstrable experience with each of the following:
• Microsoft Excel including data and analysis tools, including SmartView;
• PowerPoint;
• Google Suite including Sheets and Slides;
• Qualitative and quantitative skills including communication, accounting literate (GAAP or otherwise known as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), interpersonal, attention-to[1]detail, problem-solving, critical-thinking, organization, analytical and project management;
• Forecasting tools including Hyperion Planning, Anaplan, Workday and Essbase;
• Tableau;
• Telecommuting permitted up to 80%
