We are looking for a highly motivated accounting professional to join the International Financial Compliance team covering EMEA, APAC, LATAM & Canada. This team is responsible for ensuring international entities comply with local accounting standards and filing requirements and providing local accounting advice on business and tax initiatives. Reporting to the director, of International Financial Compliance in Dublin, the Finance Analyst will be responsible for a portfolio of LATAM and EMEA entities and also to support the compliance team in Dublin. You will work closely with the compliance operational team in India, local accountants, and auditors and cross-functionally with MDB tax, legal and the wider finance team. This is a great opportunity for part-qualified / newly qualified accountant who is interested in progressing their career and expanding their knowledge of accounting and financial compliance, gaining experience across multiple legal entities across different jurisdictions.

Responsibilities- Manage the financial compliance requirements for MDB entities in LATAM and EMEA
- Maintain monthly bridge files from US GAAP to local accounts
- Maintain details reconciliation of GAAP to STAT differences
- Maintain a secondary ledger for assigned entities
- Work with local advisors on the annual financial statements preparation and filing
- Liaising with internal Tax and GL to reconcile local balances to US GAAP
- Supporting accounting information for local tax audits
- Liaising with auditors
- Working on cross-functional projects
- Continually improving internal controls
- Maintaining up-to-date procedure documents
- And other projects
- Bachelor and/or Master in Accounting or any related field
- Newly/Part-qualified accountant (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA)
- 2-3 years experience working in a similar GL/ statutory compliance role in a shared service structure or accountancy practice. LATAM-based experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of statutory financial reporting under Brazil GAAP, Mexico GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP is helpful
- Language skills - English - Spanish or Portuguese an advantage
- Ability to work well as part of a team or independently as required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
- Possess strong analytical skills (MS Excel), problem-solving, critical thinking and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experienced with Word, Excel, Google Suite and NetSuite or other ERP is an advantage
The Finance Analyst will be successful in this role when they can execute the following strategic
tasks/responsibilities:
- in 3 months you will be fully on-boarded to the team and start taking responsibility to for a portfolio of entities
- in 6 months you will have be proficient in the entity assignments which you support and taking the lead to align LATAM process with internal processes
- in 12 months you will have expanded your network across internal and external stakeholders and seek opportunities to further develop your skills and career
