And, we need a Senior Front-End Developer to join our mission and help us build a global platform that’s scalable, reliable and secure. We’re working on lots of exciting challenges, and you’ll dive right into projects helping consumers and businesses receive and send money from anywhere in the world.

Team you will be working with: Account Access and Recovery

Our Account Access & Recovery team owns and optimises the user registration journey as well as improving aspects of the login and logged-in experience. In addition, the team manages security features for our customers, making sure we protect them as they navigate Wise. In short, we work on features to make Wise more secure and easier to access. You’ll be joining an amazing team solving some of Wise’s most challenging and unique problems, whilst influencing the most important KPIs. Surrounded by iOS and Android developers, front-end engineers, and back-end engineers, you'll be able to leverage a wealth of knowledge across experienced individuals while having fun!

What does it take?

• Solid understanding of JavaScript and browser technologies
• Experience with UI libraries, such as React
• Experience building delightful user experiences
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both engineers and non-engineers
• Ability to both collaborate effectively with your team and solve problems independently and proactively

It would be a bonus if you also:

Are knowledgeable about product engineering, or have the desire to learn it

• Possess an eagerness to learn and grow
• Developed a habit of writing clear and testable code
• Have experience with TypeScript. Node.js, and SSR frameworks (such as Next.js)
• Have a strong sense of good UX and design, and great attention to detail
• Share our passion for accessible web applications

• You have embedded well with the team, its goals, and your role in contributing towards them
• You understand our product and customers
• You ensure thereliabilityof our web solutions
