Senior, Full Stack Engineer | Energy Marketplace
This will be a hybrid role based out of our Fort Mill, SC office with expected in-office days (Tuesday - Thursday) each week.
This role is not open to visa sponsorship or transfer of visa sponsorship including those on OPT and STEM-EXT OPT, nor is it available to work corp-to-corp.
We combine our knowledge of the energy market with our trusted partnerships with top providers to connect customers to reliable energy plans for their homes.
What You'll Do:
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack, Software Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud Services, Terraform, Next.js, Node.js, Tailwind, SASS and Typescript. The ideal candidate must excel in collaboration, demonstrate drive, and exhibit an ownership mentality. Who You Are:
- Full-Stack Development Expertise: 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex full-stack applications using Node.js for server-side logic, Next.js for streamlined React framework integration, Tailwind CSS for rapid UI development, AWS cloud services for scalable infrastructure, and TypeScript for statically typed, maintainable code.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proactively communicate with product, creative and business stakeholders to ensure clear, unified understanding of project goals
- Architectural Best Practices: Adhere to industry-standard coding conventions, design patterns, and architectural principles to ensure code is clean, modular, testable, and scalable. Optimize application performance, security, and maintainability through efficient database design, caching strategies, and code reviews.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation: Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and address technical challenges, proactively propose innovative solutions, and continuously improve application functionality and user experience.
- Cloud-Native Development: Leverage the power of AWS cloud services, including compute, storage, database, and serverless offerings, to build and deploy scalable, resilient, and cost-effective applications.
- Continuous Learning: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools in the ever-evolving web development landscape. Actively participate in knowledge sharing, mentorship, and professional development opportunities.
- AI Tool Utilization: Explore and leverage AI-powered tools and technologies to enhance development efficiency, automate tasks, and improve application functionality.
- Code and Architecture Reviews: Guide formal and informal code and architecture reviews.
- Architectural Decisions: Contribute to key architectural decisions.
Compensation:
- Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 - 150,000*
- Note: actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
