As a Fullstack Engineer at Kertos – the European Champion for Compliance Automation – you’ll play a key role in shaping our platform into a product of its own class.Collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering peers, you’ll continuously bring in your own ideas, innovate new functionalities, and refine our development processes — making a direct impact on how compliance automation evolves in Europe and beyond.OUR TEAM SETUPWe work in three cross-functional product squads, each focused on one of our core internal products or solutions:Squad composition:

• 1 Product Manager, 1 Product Designer, 3–4 Fullstack Engineers, 1 Tech Lead
• Collaboration style: Flat hierarchies, shared ownership, and strong cross-functional teamwork

• Backend: Python (Django)
• Frontend: React.js, TypeScript
• Infrastructure: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, terraform, ArgoCD, Karpenter
• AI: LangChain, LangGraph, Langfuse
• DevOps & Tools: We experiment with cutting-edge tools like Claude Code, Cursor,     Windsurf, Copilot, Raycast – and encourage you to push for the best setup for your work

• Develop and maintain Kertos as a new product class with cutting-edge privacy solutions
• Work across our full tech stack – from backend APIs to frontend interfaces – ensuring smooth, secure, and scalable integrations
• Engage with our privacy-first architecture and contribute to a secure and resilient platform
• Drive innovation by independently developing new features and functionalities
• Collaborate with the team to improve performance, code quality, and development processes
• Share your expertise and ideas to shape both our product and engineering culture

• Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or equivalent experience
• Proven track record as a Software Engineer with a focus on web applications
• Experience with software testing and quality assurance practices
• Technical knowledge in parts of our stack: TypeScript (React), Python (Django/ FastAPI),  databases & migrations, Docker
• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and a passion for building impactful products
• Experience with AI engineering is a nice to have
