About the Role
We're looking for a passionate and data-driven Growth Product Manager to join our team and lead the evolution of our monetization and self-serve experience. This is a critical role that will directly impact Mixpanel's growth trajectory by optimizing how users discover, adopt, and derive value from our product, ultimately driving revenue and customer lifetime value. You'll be at the forefront of identifying opportunities to enhance our pricing strategies, improve the self-serve onboarding flow, and create seamless pathways for users to upgrade and expand their usage. What You'll Do:
- Own the Product-Led Growth Strategy: Develop and execute the product roadmap for Mixpanel's monetization and self-serve experience, driving key metrics like conversion rates, ARPU, and retention.
- Deeply Understand User Behavior: Utilize Mixpanel's own data, conduct user research, and analyze market trends to identify pain points and opportunities within the user journey from signup to power user.
- Innovate & Experiment: Design and prioritize experiments (A/B tests) to optimize pricing models, packaging, trial conversions, and self-serve upsell paths.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with a dedicated team of engineers and designers, as well as sales, marketing, and finance teams, to align on strategy and deliver impactful features.
- Articulate Value: Craft compelling narratives and clear communication to ensure internal and external stakeholders understand the "why" behind product decisions and the value delivered.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in product management, with a strong focus on growth, monetization, or self-serve products.
- Fluency in data analysis using tools like Mixpanel, SQL, Excel, and Tableau, with a proven ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative signals into actionable insights.
- Demonstrated experience with user research, experimentation (A/B testing), and iterating on product hypotheses to drive measurable results.
- A track record of developing, articulating, and executing successful product strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- A deep understanding of SaaS business models and pricing strategies.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience writing production-grade software.
- Experience designing products using tools like Figma, Sketch, or Abstract.
- Prior experience working with an analytics platform or in a data-driven company.

Compensation
The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here.Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
