The Global Sales Go-to-Market Strategy team is responsible for supporting the success of our sales teams both operationally and strategically. They serve as the right hand partner to their associated sales leaders and are the key liaison between sales and the GTM Strategy & Operations teams.The core mission of the Sales GTM Strategy team is to drive revenue growth and retention within their specific business unit inclusive of:

  • Owning pipeline, incremental forecasting and renewal forecasting and developing plans alongside sales leaders to achieve sales goals
  • Providing a strong, data–driven point of view on what is working and not working in their given sales group and collaborating with the sales leaders to define a plan of action and track resulting actions
  • Enforcing MEDDPICC sales process, including identifying, qualifying, and converting leads, managing pipeline cleanliness and improving processes and deal flow
  • Driving strategic positioning within the market at the channel level (in collaboration with other GTM, Solution and Product teams), including developing and executing on sales plays
  • Providing the voice of the sales team for collateral, such as pitch decks, sales sheets, tools and case studies to support the sales process
  • Support Enablement and GTM Ops by reinforcing training and processes to sales teams to ensure they have the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully sell
  • Monitoring and analysing sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth

The schedule of day-to-day activities owned by the GTM Strategy Manager include:

  • Incremental and retention Forecast Management, including deal reviews and war rooms
  • Pipeline Management, ensuring cleanliness, qualification and validity of deals
  • Pipeline generation and coverage monitoring and reporting
  • Provide Company Level Reporting for board meetings and executive review
  • Territory planning and assignment
  • Ad hoc sales plays and incentives
