The role

We’re looking for a new Senior HR Business Partner - Tech (m/f/x) in our Berlin Headquarters. The role is in our Global People Team and reports to the Head of Business Partnering for our Global Tech function (aka HelloTech).

You will serve as a critical bridge between the Tech function and People team, working directly with our Tech leaders, people managers, team members as a strategic partner, trusted guide, performance coach and change agent.

Specifically, you support leaders by helping them develop solutions for business and talent imperatives. You also enable people managers and employees with support that helps them succeed in their roles. Finally, you collaborate with various other stakeholders across the Business, the People team and beyond - like our SE Works Council - to deliver the best possible outcomes for all involved.

What you’ll do
  • Understand the top strategies and KRs of HelloFresh and the Tech function in order to drive the people strategy and talent initiatives in your supported area. 
  • Partner with your supported Tech leaders and their teams to drive organizational change, raise the bar on talent and implement company-wide people initiatives improve outcomes and increase effectiveness.
  • Drive key people topics such as organisation design, workforce planning, performance management, talent reviews and pay reviews.
  • Coach and enable our managers for success on the full spectrum of people management activities to ensure we retain and develop our Tech talent.
  • Focus strongly on employee engagement, helping managers use employee feedback to develop effective action plans that improve the health and morale of the organisation.
  • Leverage the full potential of People Analytics data to set data-driven objectives, measure progress, drive change and proactively support your key stakeholders. 
  • Partner closely with the wider People team to collaborate on both Tech-only and company-wide initiatives which drive positive impact for our workforce.
What you’ll bring
  • Min. 3-5 years relevant HR Business Partnering (or very similar) experience, preferably within a tech environment,
  • Bachelors or Masters degree with excellent marks in HR/Organizational Development, Psychology, Business or another relevant field of study,
  • Proven track record in independently planning, developing and implementing various People projects (i.e. performance management, pay reviews, employee engagement, succession planning, talent reviews, change mgt) across the entire employee lifecycle,
  • Fluency in English is a must (German is a strong plus);
  • Experience of partnering with a Work council (or equivalent) is a strong plus

  • Feel at home in an agile, fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Be able to take ownership and act autonomously, but work effectively with the entire People team leveraging your collaborative strengths
  • Be an expert communicator (written and verbal) with high emotional intelligence
  • Have strong analytical skills and the ability to extract insights from data
  • Possess good business acumen and technical HR skills to deliver hands-on and pragmatic solutions in a transformational environment
  • Have strong organizational skills, be able to handle multiple tasks and projects at once
  • Be a self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Be tech-savvy, data-driven, comfortable with spreadsheets (AI exposure is a strong plus)
  • Possess basic knowledge of labour regulations in Germany
